Peter Storer, Jr.
President and Founder, StorerTV
As President and founder of the organization, Peter Storer is actively involved in management and strategic planning for StorerTV. Peter Storer is an experienced software developer with a family legacy and career in the business side of television. Peter Storer is recognized throughout the industry for his knowledge and experience with business software systems, rights management and system integrations. Peter Storer meets regularly with industry groups, including SMPTE, ATSC, NAB, BCFM and NATPE and was one of the core group that helped develop ATSC’s PMCP standard and the new SMPTE BXF standard. He is a graduate of Harvard with a BS in Economics.
Douglas Knight
Vice President, Sales
Doug Knight has led the corporate sales team at StorerTV since 1993, spearheading sales and marketing operations. Mr. Knight came to the company with more than 20 years of experience in the television industry. He has served as production manager, program manager, corporate program manager and station manager at a number of television stations nationwide and as Vice President of Sales for Viacom Domestic Television.
Karen Forecki
Vice President, Client Services
As Vice President of Client Services, Karen Forecki manages our product support, training and database construction operations. Ms. Forecki has managed the department since 1995. She has more than 25 years of experience in the broadcast/cable industry, including five years as a traffic manager. She joined the Storer team in 1991.
Sandy Demitros
Vice President, Software Development
In her capacity as Vice President of Software Development, Sandy Demitros leads StorerTV's team of developers, IT, testing and documentation personnel. Prior to her current post, Sandy served as Vice President of Corporate Relations and as Director of Client Services for Storer. She has a background in broadcast traffic including nine years as Traffic Manager at WITI-TV, a former Storer station. She also has the distinction of being Mr. Storer's first hire.
Paul Daczko
Vice President, Technology
As Vice President of Technology, Paul Daczko oversees new technology initiatives and is currently involved in special projects which employ .NET technology and service-oriented architecture to deliver innovative solutions for the Internet/intranet platform. Mr. Daczko has over twenty years of experience developing software for the broadcasting industry, principally in the areas of program scheduling and system interfaces. Mr. Daczko joined the company in March of 1994. He has a degree in computer technology and has been a member of the Association of Computing Machinery since 1991.
