Position Description

Position Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Status: Full-Time

We, at StorerTV, are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to lead our dedicated staff of testers and work closely with our development team to deliver the highest quality software. If you are a candidate who believes that software quality starts with requirement and design, and understands that testing is a continuous process for improvement rather than a final phase, this job may be for you.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements or use cases to identify test cases and test scenarios
• Work with business analyst to develop acceptance criteria
• Write test documentation and test scenarios
• Create and manage reusable test data
• Develop an automated regression test suite
• Maintain test environments to ensure sufficient coverage for all projects
• Maintain test metrics and report findings
• Work with the development team to build software compatible with testing requirements, such as monitoring and logging
• Ensure thorough testing of applications

Competencies

• Strong understanding of and experience with rapid development
• Understanding of and experience with T-SQL and SQL
• Understanding of and experience with .Net 3.5
• Familiarity with Windows 2008 & IIS 7.0
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• 5+ years of experience using testing tools in a .Net environment
• Demonstrable experience with the .Net application development platform
• Experience with ASP.Net and Web development is a plus
• Demonstrable experience testing web applications, including:
• unit testing
• integration and application/server testing
• Client front-end browser compatibility and JavaScript.
• experience creating load / performance tests
